Happy Birthday =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I never tried a cupcake bites with a topper. This looks super cute! Problem is, its hard to individually wrap each one of these.
I haven't tried it yet, maybe I'll just get a cake box and put these in.
I made these for my sister-in-law's birthday and I was dying to try a new cake flavor and waited until an event to make one because I can't eat all this by myself!
Inside is Banana Cake. My first attempt in trying this flavor. I LOVE banana cakes but on the other hand, my hubby hates them so he wasn't fond of this flavor but he still ate some...hehe...
I made a little holder for this cupcake bite, it came out better than I thought!
My son in the background trying to pose! Silly boy!

My Daughter's 1st Birthday

I made these for my daughter Jaela's 1st Birthday Party! The ones on pop were for her favors and the bites were served as desserts. Her theme was pink and purple cupcake, so I worked the colors around that. I bought pink and purple M&Ms from the Sweet Factory.
They take a REALLY LONG time to make but so worth it! Every bite is delicious as the first! =) Thank goodness for my cousin Krystle who came over to help!! At the end we were getting tired so instead of finishing up the rest of the cake, we didn't want to waste the melted chocolate so we got some jumbo marshmallow and dipped it into the chocolate (you can see in the picture above; the two left columns) They still came out great!
Close-Up of the bites
We were running out of things to let the chocolates dry!
This was the next day where they were served as desserts.

Nathan's 1st Birthday

This is the classic color that I do. When there's no theme color involve or I just feel make making some cake pops, I just use chocolate and white chocolate. I use the colorful non-pareils sprinkles.
I made this for my sister-law's sister for her son's 1st Birthday. I mixed them up, half bites and half pops. Then I just added a simple favor tag.

Christmas!!!

I made these last Christmas for my family, I just dipped these into red and green chocolates to give the christmas look! =) I think that bites are easier to make than cake balls, but cake balls are supposed to be easier! I did so many "cupcake" version that I skipped the ball! LOL!
These here are cake ball pops. The ball style will go with ANY party! For baby showers you can have pink or blue balls! Or simple white chocolate with pink or blue sprinkles! These are always a hit!

Welcome!

Welcome to JaeBellz Sweet Bites where you will soon be seeing different versions of my cake pops. Many of you had asked if I had pictures or site JUST for the cake pops....stay tuned!!! =)

For those of you that dont know what a cake bite or cake pops, let me introduce you to it...

This is a simple Cake Bite (smaller than an actual mini cupcake), basically, inside is cake mixed with frosting, giving a moist texture, then is dipped into chocolate. Added sprinkles and an M&M on top to give a "cupcake" look
and bite!!! hmmmm...see that cake inside? That's red velvet! This flavor seems to be my hit one. I have yet to try the banana and strawberry cake flavor!
and viola! The packaging! so cute! Just add favor tags/labels!
These are cake POPs since they're on a lollipop stick. I personally like the bites because they come out cuter, more cupcake look. But everyone seems to like holding it on a stick! hehe! What do you prefer...bites or stick? =)

Update: 12/8/10
I will update this post soon to show actual size of the bites/pops.
Nothing I offer is actual cupcakes, just in the form of a "cupcake" look.
Everything I offer is cake bites or cake pops,
all with the same method: I bake the cake, crumble, then mix it with frosting.
Then I form into a ball and dip into chocolate.
The only dfference is appearance, I offer
"cupcake" look,
ball pops,
upside down ball pops,
& character pops.
They are all BITE size meaning MINI size

Thank You!
Sorry for ANY confusion,
Lora Joy
