Jaina's Sip & See

My husband and I hosted a "Sip & See" for our latest addition.

For those who are unfamiliar with this type of shower, it is a party typically given for a second or third time mom and her new baby, a month or so after the baby is born. It is a wonderful way to celebrate the new baby and mommy without any pressure for gifts. It's just a lovely excuse for friends and family to get together!

Of course I made cake pops! :)

I made red velvet baby cake pops and oreo truffles

I went with lavender and brown zebra & giraffe theme

I also made all the other sweets for the party

As you can see, everything in the Sip and See was all sweets and finger foods. Other finger foods I had were mini sandwiches, lumpia, empanadas, etc. I also had coffee and many teas to choose from. I'm glad everyone got to come over to "sip" on some drinks and "see" the baby :)
